Cocktail-Style Receptions
Cocktail-style
receptions work wonderfully at Chase Court! A cocktail-style
reception is typically a mix of high and low, cafe-style tables
with lots of mingling and dancing space. Tables are usually
smaller than for a seated reception, sometimes mixed in size and
shape. There is seating at the low tables for about a
third
of the guests (the honored, infirm, and elderly, usually reserved), with the majority of the guests easily
moving about and mingling throughout the reception.
The flow is less formal than for a sit-down reception, with a timeline
that opens the Library and the Ballroom immediately after the ceremony
and allows for food service that can include stations, buffet,
and butlered presentations. While every guest gets a full meal
(as opposed to a 'cocktail' reception, this is 'cocktail-style'),
the pace is more relaxed and less formal. A Cocktail-style reception
encourages the most mingling among your guests and allows for the
greatest menu variety.
Chase Court comfortably accomodates up to 150 guests
for a cocktail-style reception.

Ballroom set cocktail-style, with uplighting and candles.

A nice mix, of square, round, and high tables.
