Cocktail-Style Receptions

Cocktail-style receptions work wonderfully at Chase Court! A cocktail-style reception is typically a mix of high and low, cafe-style tables with lots of mingling and dancing space. Tables are usually smaller than for a seated reception, sometimes mixed in size and shape. There is seating at the low tables for about a third of the guests, with the majority of the guests easily moving about and mingling throughout the reception.

The flow is less formal than for a sit-down reception, with a timeline that opens the Library and the Ballroom immediately after the ceremony and allows for food service that can include stations, buffet, and butlered presentations. While every guest gets a full meal (as opposed to a "cocktail" reception, this is "cocktail-style"), the pace is more relaxed and less formal. A Cocktail Style Reception encourages the most mingling among your guests and allows for the greatest variety on your menu.

Chase Court comfortably accomodates up to 150 guests for a cocktail-style reception.
