Abacrombie
Fine Food and Accomodations
58 West Biddle Street
(410) 837-3630, (888) 922-3437
3 blocks from Chase Court
Three and a half (out of four) stars from the Baltimore Sun. From the Sun's review: "…the simplicity of brick walls painted white and black-and-white tiled floors doesn't prepare you for the fact that the chairs are extremely comfortable and the white-clothed tables elaborately set. This is a luxury restaurant disguised as a hip minimalist one. The food is pretty luxurious too, with an all-European wine list to match."
City Cafe
1001 Cathedral Street
(410) 539-4252
3 blocks from Chase Court
City Cafe was just renovated, and looks great. It's light and airy, just the opposite of a bar atmosphere. They serve breakfast, lunch
and dinner seven days a week and a have full bar. They can do single-table seating with groups up to a dozen. Coffee
bar and sidewalk seating. City Cafe accomodates 25-30 people in their upstairs
loft.
They also have a terrific Sunday brunch. Reasonably-priced, City Cafe will
customize their menu for your rehearsal. Contact: Gino

Feast @4 East
4 East Madision Street, (410) 605-2020
3 blocks from Chase Court
Three stars from the Baltimore Sun, which said, "…feels more like dinner at someone's home than a restaurant meal…Of course, most people's homes aren't a grand old Mount Vernon town house with etched glass panels, front and back parlors, high ceilings, tall windows and marble fireplaces. Gayot.com said, "“Feast”—an acronym for “fabulous eating at Sandy’s table”—does make its customers feel like pampered guests in a private home.…Feast’s spirit is friendly and welcoming, and Sandy Lawler’s cuisine is both internationally eclectic and locally sourced, with a choice between light fare (vegan pasta, Atlantic mussels Provençal) and heartier dinners (bison steak with wild mushrooms, rosemary-crusted free-range lamb rack)." Located in the historic 4 East Madison Inn.

1101 North Calvert Street (entrance on Chase Street)
David Derewicz, (410) 952-5523
