Client
agrees to abide by rules and regulations as follows and to be
responsible for the adherence by Client's guests, servants, agents,
workers, and employees:
Responsibility
The Client is hereby notified that the individual(s), company or organization
noted in the Rental Agreement is solely responsible for the actions of all invited
guests and vendors. The Client is responsible for familiarizing all guests and
vendors with the rules and regulations. The Client and Client’s guests,
agents, suppliers and vendors must comply with all rules and regulations. Failure
to comply with the rules and regulations may result in the immediate termination
of the event, closing of Chase Court and forfeiture of all rental fees and deposits.
Chase Court reserves the right to deny access to any Client, guest or vendor
for any reason.
Decorations
Confetti, sand, glitter, rice, balloons, and any other difficult-to-remove
materials are prohibited, except as specifically approved.
Loose flower pedals may not be used in the Ballroom, the LIbrary or the
Foyer.
Nothing may be affixed to the premises, including the walls, woodwork,
doors, windows or mirrors, by means of nails, screws, tacks, pins, tape,
adhesive or any other marking or marring medium.
All decorations must be removed immediately following the end of the
event.
Any and all use of ladders shall only be made by recognized professional
vendors holding a certificate of liability insurance from an insurance
company deemed acceptable by Chase Court, LLC.
Alcoholic Beverage Service
The Client must comply with all State and Local laws regarding the service
of alcoholic beverages. All alcoholic beverages must be served by representatives
of a licensed caterer. Alcoholic beverages shall not be served to anyone
under the age of 21 or to anyone who appears to be intoxicated. Anytime
that alcoholic beverages are served, food and nonalcoholic beverages
must also be served. The Client and/or their guests may not bring alcoholic
beverages onto the property. Any unauthorized beverages will be confiscated
and disposed of by Chase Court and/or the caterer. When a wedding ceremony
takes place as a part of the event, no alcoholic beverage service shall
precede the ceremony. Service of alcoholic beverages must be discontinued
at least thirty (30) minutes before the ending time of the event. No
announcement to guests shall be made prior to discontining alcohol service.
Chase Court reserves the right to require the Client to discontinue service
of alcoholic beverages at any time during the event. Chase Court and/or
the caterer retains the right to refuse service to any person who presents
an immediate or potential threat to the property or to other persons.
Beer is only to be served in glasses. Shots of any type are not to be
served. The service of beer from kegs is not allowed at Chase Court.
The use of barmats is required.
Candles
All use of candles must be specifically approved and comply with
Baltimore City Fire Department regulations. All candles must be
enclosed, including a cover, with non-combustable materials. Exception:
Votive-type candles are not required to have a cover if the top
of the candle flame is at least three (3) inches from the top of
the enclosure. Candle encloses must have a non-combustable stand
or base. Candles must be on dining tables only. Candles or other
flame devices are prohibited in means of egress, aisles, corridors
or areas where occupants stand.
Equipment
Any equipment delivered to Chase Court is the responsibility of
the Caterer and/or the Client. Chase Court will not be responsible
for missing or damaged equipment or supplies. Any equipment or
supplies left at Chase Court for seven days following the event
will become the property of Chase Court. Rental equipment must
be contracted through the caterer except as specifically approved.
Pick Up and Delivery
All equipment and supplies must be delivered and picked up within
the specified set-up and break-down times on the day of the event.
Food and Beverage Service
Beer, soda, water and other beverages are only to be served in
glasses or cups.
Bar mats and/or plastic sheeting must be used on any surface used
for bar or food except as approved, and surfaces must be protected
from melting ice, water and other fluids from bars.
No propane may be used inside the building.
Spills and stains must be wiped up immediately.
All items containing food or drink, including dirty dishes,
glassware, etc., must be removed immediatly following the end
of the event.
Leftover ice may only be dumped in street gutters or catering
kitchen sinks.
Set-Up and Break-Down
Set-up time must be approved. Break-down time promptly follows
event. Set-up and break-down of tables, chairs and all equipment
and supplies related to service of food and drink must be performed
by the caterer.
Clean-Up
Premises must be returned to their prior state, which could include
sweeping and damp-mopping floors, returning plants and furniture
to their original placement, wiping table and chair surfaces,
etc., as needed.
Trash and Recycling
All trash must be removed. Clean glass, metal, plastic and paper
recycling may be left in our yellow recycling bins for City pick-up.
Music
All amplified music must adhere to Baltimore City noise ordinances
and must not disrupt the immediate neighborhood. No music or
entertainment featuring vulgar lyrics or offensive content will
be permitted,
to be determined by Chase Court in its sole discretion. Music
played outdoors must cease by 11:00 p.m.
Smoking
No smoking is allowed inside the building. Debris from smoking
outside must be removed. Cigar smoking is prohibited at all times
anywhere on the property.
Children
Unmonitored children are prohibited at all times.
Parking
There is no parking by anyone at any time in the parking lot adjacent
to the building.
