Traditional Architecture: Authentic (1879!), gorgeous, church-like-without-being-a-church gothic building, and the private, (in the middle of the city!), clearing-in-the-forest ceremony and cocktails and hors d’oeuvres garden. Comforting. Stunningly beautiful. Real. With all the modern conveniences you want (including air-conditioning!). All in the beautiful, historic, Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore.

Non-Traditional Attitude: We’re LGBTQ+ supportive and affirmative, with almost 80 same-sex weddings thus far! Every possible spirituality and non-spirituality is welcome. We’ve had lots of handfastings. Cosplay happens. Relaxed, fun parties (aka receptions) are a thing here!

Guide to the Virtual Tour.

The virtual tour starts at our Chase Street gate, takes a walk through our spectacular “attitude-adjustment” entrance garden, into the upper foyer, and then out into the ceremony garden for your wedding ceremony!

We pop back inside to the great hall to see the rain or cold weather ceremony plan. You can have your ceremony in front of one of the big, beautiful, leaded-glass windows, or in front of the working gas fireplace.

A quick stop to look at the cocktails and hors d’oeuvres set-up in the library, and then out in the ceremony garden. The garden and the library, used together, are frequently how are couples do cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. You can even have your bar outside!

By the way, all of the outside lighting that you’re seeing is ours, so it’s here for you to use at no extra charge!

Next, we’re in the great hall for dinner and dancing! Whether you use buffet-style service, seated-and-served, or cocktail-style service, all work great at Chase Court!

Round tables, long tables, big or small, we own them all, as well as chairs for indoors and outdoors. That all saves you many hundreds of dollars.

Finally, there’s a peek into our gorgeous wedding suite getting-ready space.

Reviews

Our original plans were for a courthouse wedding, keeping the arrangements simple versus the time, detailed planning and costs required for a private ceremony. At the last minute we discovered Chase Court. Not only did we fall in love with the beauty of the indoor and outdoor settings, but we were also excited to find the offerings of several small wedding packages with prices that would make the venue a fit for us.
It was awesome to work with David, the proprietor of Chase Court. We selected a package that included everything needed with the Officiant, a professional photographer, a custom bouquet and boutonniere from a local florist, and a string quartet. The services provided by everyone in this group made our day complete. David’s connections to bring together such consummate professionals is an indication of the depth of resources available and the quality of the ceremonies possible at Chase Court. It gets a 5-star rating from us. Thank you David and everyone who made our wedding special.

We had a wonderful experience…David was responsive and reliable throughout the process, and whenever I emailed him questions, he called shortly after to address them, even though everything is outlined in the contract (but that was why I had so many questions). The location is good as there is a parking lot right across; the venue looked stunningly beautiful as the garden was lush and green, as we hoped it would be (a June wedding). I also appreciated that we were restricted to only 5 food vendors -that made the selection process a lot easier for us. I personally loved how the venue is preserved while also keeping up with the times when necessary. I cannot thank David enough for helping make the day special!

Enthusiastically recommend!! We had our wedding ceremony at Chase Court using one of the elopement packages. It was just perfect - Chase Court is beautiful and unique inside and out. It provided the most gorgeous setting for our wedding and photos (we didn't even do any additional decorations or flowers and didn't miss them). David is wonderful and was so helpful, supportive, and a joy to work with. He took care of so much including set up and finding an amazing officiant and cellist. We had the intimate, stress-free, beautiful wedding of our dreams! Would get married here again in a heartbeat. Also Chase Court is in a great location for other photo locations, and near many great bars and restaurants.

Chase Court is a stunning hidden gem in Midtown Baltimore. So many other venues made our 30-guest wedding feel small or unimportant but David made us feel truly special. Nestled in the shadow of a stone-walled church, we were able to get those "wedding" vibes without having to have a religious ceremony. David made the whole process simple and relaxed. He helped us arrange for a beautiful solo harpist to welcome our guests and add ambiance to our small ceremony. We lucked out with PERFECT weather but the grounds and building are as beautiful inside as out. For anyone looking to create the wedding of their dreams, especially if those dreams don't follow the "traditional" wedding route, Chase Court is an exceptional option that shows the old time charm of Charm City.

Chase Court was a perfect place to have my “dream” wedding. The building is beautiful with gothic architecture, hard wood floors, stained glass windows to the ceiling and even some art deco style to it. It is in the Mount Vernon section of Baltimore with a garden outside area and nearby parking.
We had 55 people with a wonderful officiant who delivered the exact kind of ceremony we wanted, a talented string quartet, a professional photographer who captured everyone looking fabulous and a delicious caterer.
David Egan, the owner of Chase Court made planning the event so easy, as he knows the best people in Baltimore to work with. David has an eye for art and beauty as well as efficiency, the perfect combination for the ultimate wedding planner!
I highly recommend Chase Court to anyone looking for a beautiful, easy to plan, unique place for their special day.

Thank you. Thank you for your dedication and involvement in our momentous and magical day. Chase Court was precisely the perfect place for us and we simply could not have had the same experience without you.
While the venue drew us in, your warm and instant connection with us really helped us feel we made the best decision. Your recommendations and flexibility during the pandemic helped us make informed decisions when we were flying by the seat of our pants on what to do and who to seek out as vendors. Your professionalism and authenticity made the services provided by Chase Court exceptional.
We are so grateful that our day went so smoothly and without issue due to your experience in coordination of events and with the vendors.
Our day is forever memorable and one of our most treasured experiences. Thank you for helping our vision of our small, romantic wedding come to life!
With all our love,

Anne S., and Luis S., bride and groom

Chase court is a gem right in the middle of Baltimore. We just completed a family wedding there; and I can’t recommend Chase Court enough. It’s well maintained, professional, and perfect for a small to mid-sized wedding. Ours was 60-70 guests. The outdoor ceremony site is magical, intimate, beautiful, old worldly, elegant, and could not be more perfect. A large tree with branches dressed in strands of white lights covers the courtyard, letting in dappled sunlight. Behind the ceremony site, red brick townhouses peep through, giving a glimpse of quintessential Baltimore. The stone church nextdoor lends its walls to frame the courtyard. Stone paths and a small koi pond add whimsy and freshness to the atmosphere. You won’t even need to add decorations to the outdoors; it’s perfect on its own. The indoor space is equally charming. David was wonderful and professional. Thank you, David, for sharing this wonderful space with the public and providing a welcoming and gorgeous space for the brides this weekend.

Shannon T., wedding guest

Chase Court was exactly what we needed for our short notice, international, intimate wedding ceremony. David Egan was able to organize an excellent and professional ceremony for my husband and I and our 16 guests with just 30 days notice!
We were paired with an outstanding officiant, Natalie Tyler, who crafted a custom ceremony that was a perfect summation of our relationship and was delivered with so much joy that the room radiated with love.
Our photographer, Jennifer Smutek, worked quickly and effortlessly to capture our special day even in a tight timeframe, and a slightly rowdy albeit excited group of guests. She made it easy and enjoyable to capture those essential moments of our most important day.
Even our custom flower request was fulfilled in time!
The architecture and ambiance of the space gave us the right degree of reverence and atmosphere that suited my husband’s and I’s interests and dreams of our wedding day.”

Kaylee V., bride

I just had to write you a note this morning. As I reflect back on the whirlwind of the past few days, I am struck with an overwhelming feeling of warmth, light, gratitude, and peace. Thank you for taking so much time with me, Stephanie, and my (our) family. I am reaching a sense of peace in my own mind and heart that I never would have thought possible 5 or 10 years ago. I think that is part of the overwhelming emotion that I felt on Tuesday when we first met with you.
Thank you for your patience with my sisters, taking the time to genuinely get to know my parents, and inviting us into your home. We are so incredibly excited, and things all feel right and real… I really do think we were all meant to be together at Chase Court these past few days. I don't think I will ever be able to thank you enough for what has already been an incredible experience.
