Chase Court’s building and gardens have the beautiful, sacred feel of a traditional Gothic space while offering a peaceful, non-sectarian sanctuary (Chase Court is privately owned) in the easily-accessible, historic Baltimore neighborhood of Mount Vernon.

We stand ready to help make your celebration of life, memorial service, or repast a special and meaningful experience. Our stunning private garden and our beautiful gothic great hall each seat up to 115 for memorial services, with cocktail-style service for up to 150 guests.

Any one of the six approved caterers from our carefully-chosen catering list will be happy to provide catering services for you.

Our experienced professional support (24 years, 900+ events!) between now and your event.

A walk-through planning meeting with the caterer.

Three hours of supervised set-up time (the industry standard).

Tables and chairs.

Up to FOUR HOURS of event time. Extra hours available (see above).

One hour of supervised break-down time after your event.

Staff supervision throughout the event and coordination of set-up and break-down.

(Catering (required) is not included in our rates. We have a list of six outstanding Approved Caterers.)

Live Music Add–On

Live music adds special something to your event, and it sounds great at Chase Court!

While you can, of course, engage your own musicians, we can make it easy and convenient for you, with your choice of harp, violin, voice, viola, cello, bass, flute, or guitar. (Want something else? Ask!).

Live music is available in solo, duo, trio, or quartet form.

All of our musicians are professional wedding musicians with an extensive music repertoire. They dress appropriately and sound great!

They’ll consult with you before your event and be happy to perform whatever you like, whether it’s specific pieces you’ve chosen or their own carefully-considered selections from a wide variety of categories, from classical music to contemporary to popular television or movie themes.

Sound System Add-On

Some speakers are easier to hear than others (and some guests have difficulty hearing, in general), and some clients like to use pre-recorded music, and  need a way to play it back from their phone, tablet, or computer.

We’ve carefully researched exactly what would be needed to meet the unique needs of our clients, and we offer you the optimal audio setup that will make a big difference for you and your guests.

We provide a high quality, Bose/Sennheiser/Shure professional audio system, complete with two wireless microphones (for your speakers and readers) for clear, accurate amplification with minimal visual obtrusion into the look and feel of your event.

Our state of the art sound system, including a tiny, wireless, body-mounted microphone, allows your speakers to stay in their normal speaking voice, where they will be more comfortable and able to use the full range of their normal inflection. A second, stand-mounted, hand-held microphone is available for use by readers.

Want your pre-recorded music amplified? We can do that, too! Just bring a Bluetooth-enabled phone or tablet or computer and we’ll wirelessly connect it to our sound system!

All you need is a person to press play and stop on their device at the right times, which they can do from their seat. It will sound great!
