We’ve reinvented elopement and elopement packages at Chase Court. Eloping used to be thought of as the quick and (more or less) dirty way to get married. We`ve turned that on its head. Elopements—which we now often refer to as microweddings—are luxury experiences at Chase Court, but without the luxury price tag of a 100 person wedding.

We have 11 different elopement packages, ranging from all-inclusive to do-it-yourself. We always include the fantastic venue, of course, with an outstanding, completely private ceremony garden, and a gorgeous, indoor rain and cold-weather plan.You never have to worry about the weather at Chase Court!

Ther’s also a great selection of available add-ons, including amazing live music; our wedding suite for getting ready; our state-of-the-art sound system for voice and music; and even a reception.

And it’s all remarkably inexpensive.

There are elopement packages for just the two of you, up to eight guests, up to 30 guests, and even up to 45 or 60 guests.

We have an outstanding group of professional wedding officiants, who will work with you in the weeks and months prior to your wedding to create a custom wedding ceremony with you. Or you can bring your own.

Our wedding photographers among the top wedding professionals in Baltimore. Couples are delighted with their work, and often contract with them to also photograph their reception. And, again, you can bring your own, if you prefer.

The list of top-level wedding professionals goes on, including fabulous florists, caterers (we have a great reception add-on!) and professional wedding musicians, including harpists, violinists, cellists, guitarists, and more.

Romance at Chase Court isn`t confined to the spring, summer, and fall! Here`s a magical winter wedding ceremony and reception photographed by an outstanding wedding photographer, showing off how fantastic and picture-perfect Chase Court can look in the cooler part of the year!

The weather was just warm enough to have their December wedding ceremony under the pergola in our magical ceremony garden! Radebaughs Florist dressed up the garden with blooms and extra greenery, giving it an absolute luxury look!

We also have an excellent rain plan available, with regular, ceremony-style seating, so people aren`t sitting around their reception tables, craning their necks. And the decision to invoke the rain plan can be made as late as three hours ahead of your ceremony.

There are so many places at Chase Court to make memorable wedding photographs! Everyone loves the twinkle lights in the trees and on the pergola! (It’s all a permanent installation, saving you hundreds of dollars in decor cost.) And Inside, with the stained glass and the leaded glass, the woodwork, it’s a unique, historic, Gothic look. Perfect for a refined celebration that`s not stuffy!

Chase Court is in the historic Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore, which is full of outstanding 19th and 20th century architecture—fantastic for wedding photography!

Seasons Greetings and Happy Holidays! We’re in what wedding professionals call “engagement season” right now. Chase Court was the winner in two categories in the 2025 Best of Baltimore Weddings Reader’s Poll: “Gardens” and “Eclectic And Unconventional,” and a finalist in the category of “Historic And Estate!”

In the ceremony garden at Chase Court there is a pond, and in the pond there are lots of colorful goldfish! The goldfish stay in the pond all winter, literally chilling out. They’ll become active and start feeding again in the warmer months.

Giving thanks is a daily experience at Chase Court. I’m David Egan, the owner of Chase Court. I`m especially grateful to own a business that is centered around celebrations. And I`m grateful for the ability that I have developed over 23+ years of owning Chase Court to help my clients get the weddings they want without stress or worry.

With Small Business Saturday right after Thanksgiving, I could talk about the benefits to the community of doing business with a small, locally-owned business. That’s all good and important. But I want to talk about the direct value to you of doing business with me as a small business owner: the 23+ years and 900+ weddings of hands-on experience that I bring to the table. Experience that matters, from our first contact and your venue tour to your walk-through, rehearsal, and finally, the actual event itself (including, critically, the load-in and load-out).

In those 23+ years I’ve listened carefully to my clients’ needs and desires. I’ve learned from long experience what works and what doesn’t in planning and execution, I’ve developed experience-based creativity and skills, I’ve learned how to produce fantastic events, and I’ve learned how to make event planning as easy and stress-free as possible for my clients!

Chase Court is an amazing Baltimore wedding venue with traditional architecture, but a decidedly non-traditional attitude! Every possible spirituality and non-spirituality is welcome. We`ve had lots of handfastings. Cosplay happens. Relaxed, fun parties (aka receptions) are a thing here! We do wedding ceremonies in the stunning, clearing-in-the-forest outdoor garden, or in the beautiful Gothic great hall. Receptions happen inside and out.

Chase Court offers an outstanding, private, (in the middle of the city!) ceremony garden, and a gorgeous historic church-like-without-being-a-church reception venue in the beautiful Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland.
