Classic Table Design at Minimal Cost

By October 6, 2010April 26th, 2015One Comment

Here’s a good example of a clean, classic look pulled off with a minimal budget and a bit of creativity. Off-white table linens, rich red napkins (red looks GREAT in the Ballroom!), and a ribbon-wrapped stack of books as a centerpiece (which does double-duty as a support for the table numbers). The passport-like piece at each place setting was a nice homemade favor.

The chairs here, black Chiavaris with black cushions, were an indulgence, but black wooden or resin folding chairs would have done just as well. —David

  • Thanks David for sharing the photos. As you know I am the Event Coordinator for Manor Catering and we were the caterer for this wedding. I loved the brides concept when she explained it to me in our details meeting. I really think it all came together and the black chiavari chairs were a super bonus!!!!!!!!
