More About Chase Court

Chase Court is an amazing Baltimore wedding venue with traditional architecture, but a decidedly non-traditional attitude! Every possible spirituality and non-spirituality is welcome. We’ve had lots of handfastings. Cosplay happens. Relaxed, fun parties (aka receptions) are a thing here! We do wedding ceremonies in the stunning, clearing-in-the-forest outdoor garden, or in the beautiful Gothic great hall. Receptions happen inside and out.

Chase Court offers an outstanding, private, clearing-in-the-forest (in the middle of the city!) ceremony garden, and a gorgeous historic church-like-without-being-a-church reception venue in the beautiful Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland.

With so many options, from ceremony-only elopement, microwedding, or even larger wedding ceremony and receptions, I think you’ll love Chase Court and all that we have to offer.

There are 11 different elopement packages, ranging from all-inclusive to do-it- yourself, including packages for just the two of you, up to eight guests, up to 30 guests, and even up to 45 or 60 guests.

For larger weddings, Chase Court comfortably seats 125 guests for dinner in the great hall, and accommodates 150 guests, cocktail-style.

We’ve been the venue for over 75 LGBTQ+ weddings.

Chase Court welcomes, honors, and affirms couples whose spirituality, sexuality, gender identities, racial identities, or ways of being are less accepted elsewhere. So there’s never a worry about who you are, or what kind of wedding ceremony you’re going to have. We welcome everyone and everything.

“Chase court is a gem right in the middle of Baltimore. We just completed a family wedding there; and I can’t recommend Chase Court enough. It’s well maintained, professional, and perfect for a small to mid-sized wedding. Ours was 60-70 guests. The outdoor ceremony site is magical, intimate, beautiful, old worldly, elegant, and could not be more perfect. A large tree with branches dressed in strands of white lights covers the courtyard, letting in dappled sunlight. Behind the ceremony site, red brick townhouses peep through, giving a glimpse of quintessential Baltimore. The stone church nextdoor lends its walls to frame the courtyard. Stone paths and a small koi pond add whimsy and freshness to the atmosphere. You won’t even need to add decorations to the outdoors; it’s perfect on its own. The indoor space is equally charming.
