Here’s a rare peek into the bride’s room, where Kim and her attendants got ready. Tami, her soon-to-be wife, used Empire House, a fabulous guest house right across the street from Chase Court.
There’s lots of space in the bride’s room, mirrors everywhere, and stunning light for photography.
Presentation means so much in weddings, and Jennifer’s Flowers took the time to line these fabulous bouquets up on the counter just so. What a great experience it was for Kim to come through the door of the bride’s room and see these gorgeous flowers!
Speaking of Kim…
Kim’s two daughters were her attendants, in identical dresses and head pieces.
Tami with father, just before they walked down the aisle together.
Kim with her father, sharing the moment. The walk down the aisle with their daughter is a very special experience for fathers, unique and unforgettable.
Two very happy women!
Up to the bride’s room, together now, for some time alone to catch their breath and celebrate the moment before joining their guests at the reception.
The caterer made home-made potato chips – with Old Bay, of course! – for the occasion.
And they provided a little something with which to wash it down.
Kim and Tami’s wedding was the 27th same-sex wedding we’ve done at Chase Court over the two-and-a-quarter years since the law took effect in Maryland. We’ve had couples from nine states over that time. We’re delighted to now have lot of local couples who can have, at long last, a “normal” wedding.
