Here’s a nice summery look that maximizes the impact of some well-chosen flourishes to keep the overall decorating budget under control. The burlap(!) overlay on top of a basic table linen gets a matching Chiavari chair with a cool mint green cushion, which give the table a soft, summertime feel. The natural palette is extended to the terrific, high-impact, deep green goblets on the table, an also-very-nice clear water goblet, and then more impact with the tea lights in delightful little green votives. The votives also carry the look to the window sills, where they get some help from their larger cousin.
Finally, a very colorful, very earthy flower arrangement in a Mason jar pulls the focus into the center of the table. All very well done. Earth, Water, Air and Fire are all here, representing the classical elements, and setting the stage for a beautiful wedding reception. Perfect.
Kristin Olsson of Atlantic Caterers did the catering. Susan Childs from Select Event Rentals worked with Kristin to provide the tables, chairs, linens and place settings. Radebaugh Florists provided the flowers. —David
